IDEAS for this blend
- Cook with them in tomato sauces for pasta dishes – I use a heaped teaspoon in a sauce for 4 persons
- Sprinkle them over potato salad, green salad – whatever you like.
- Sprinkle over sliced or cubed sweet potato and bake 30 minutes at 180 Celsius
- Make a marinade for chicken with crushed garlic, fresh lemon juice, celtic sea salt, and olive oil. If you like it hot, add a pinch of powdered cayenne pepper or black pepper. Don’t have time to wait for the marinade? No problem, just toss the chicken in the marinade mix and cook it straight away. Best in the fry pan on medium heat so you don’t burn the lemon or the herbs.
- Add the herbs to your homemade salad dressing. Here’s my recipe for 200ml :
- 80ml Vinegar (Red wine vinegar OR white wine vinegar OR apple cider vinegar OR Combination of all 3)
- 20ml fresh lemon juice
- 100ml organic olive oil
- 1 x chopped fresh mild chilli (optional)
- 1 x teaspoon mixed herbs
- 1/4 teaspoon celtic sea salt
- crushed clove of garlic (optional)
